Cisco UCS C-Series servers offer investment protection through the capability to deploy them either as standalone servers or as part of the Cisco Unified Computing System. Video Description: This video explores the configuration of Cisco System’s C-Series Rack Mount server initial configuration and ESXi installation. The following will be covered 1. Configuration of the Cisco Integrated Management Consol (CIMC). The CIMC is used for remote management and monitoring of the C-Series servers. Once the CIMC is configured with a IP Address, Subnet Mask, and default gateway, and the CIMC Ethernet port is connected to the network this device should be reachable from anywhere on the network. 2.
